Lyon — Linen Skirt with Hand-Crocheted Inserts

A full linen skirt with intricate cotton doilies, crocheted by hand by artisans. The linen beneath each doily is carefully cut away, creating lace-like windows that reveal the openwork. Generous volume, inset pockets and a fringed hem give Lyon its relaxed character.

Concealed button-adjustable elastic inside the waistband lets you wear it higher at the waist or lower on the hips, changing the silhouette and where the hem falls. Made to order, with the option of an even hemline or a different hem finish, discussed with Barbara.

Wear it at the waist for a higher hemline, or lower on the hips for a longer, more relaxed silhouette. The skirt is full through the hips.
